  1. Step 1: Preheat the Oven - Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C) for even baking.
  2. Step 2: Combine Dry Ingredients - Whisk together flour, baking soda, sea salt, and cocoa powder in a medium bowl.
  3. Step 3: Cream Butter and Sugars - Cream butter, granulated sugar, and light brown sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Step 4: Add Eggs and Vanilla - Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each, then add vanilla and mix until combined.
  5. Step 5: Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients - Gradually add dry mixture to wet ingredients on low speed until just combined.
  6. Step 6: Fold in Chocolate - Gently fold in chocolate chips, chunks, and wafers using a spatula.
  7. Step 7: Scoop and Shape Cookies - Drop heaping tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheets.
