Ingredients
  

For the Pudding:
  • 2 box instant vanilla pudding mix (3.4-ounce each)
  • 3.25 cup milk (whole milk)
  • 1 box vanilla wafers (about 1/3 of the box)
  • 4 bananas (thinly sliced)
  • 1 box Twinkies (cut into thirds)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1.5 tablespoon sugar (for whipped cream)

Method
 

Instructions:
  1. Step 1: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and milk until smooth and thick, about 2 minutes. Set aside.
  2. Step 2: In another bowl, whip the heavy cream and sugar on medium speed until soft peaks form.
  3. Step 3: In a 9x13-inch baking dish, start with a layer of the pudding mixture, followed by a layer of vanilla wafers.
  4. Step 4: Add half of the sliced bananas, then layer Twinkie pieces on top. Repeat the layering process.
  5. Step 5: Spread whipped cream on top and decorate with extra vanilla wafers or banana slices.
  6. Step 6: Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

  • Slice bananas just before assembly to prevent browning.
  • Chill overnight for best flavor melding.
  • Can substitute vanilla wafers with gluten-free cookies.
