Instructions:
- Step 1: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and milk until smooth and thick, about 2 minutes. Set aside.
- Step 2: In another bowl, whip the heavy cream and sugar on medium speed until soft peaks form.
- Step 3: In a 9x13-inch baking dish, start with a layer of the pudding mixture, followed by a layer of vanilla wafers.
- Step 4: Add half of the sliced bananas, then layer Twinkie pieces on top. Repeat the layering process.
- Step 5: Spread whipped cream on top and decorate with extra vanilla wafers or banana slices.
- Step 6: Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
- Slice bananas just before assembly to prevent browning.
- Chill overnight for best flavor melding.
- Can substitute vanilla wafers with gluten-free cookies.
