  • 3 green onions chopped

Method

Step-by-Step: The Best Taco Pizza
  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground turkey and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spatula. This will take about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Stir in the taco seasoning and water. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes until the mixture thickens and the turkey is well-coated with the seasoning. Remove from heat.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the plain Greek yogurt, cream cheese, and fresh lime juice. Mix until smooth and creamy. This will serve as a delicious base for your pizza.
  4. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the flatbread pizza crust on a baking sheet. Spread the creamy sauce evenly over the crust. Layer the seasoned ground turkey on top.
  5. Sprinkle the chopped cherry tomatoes and green onions over the turkey. Generously add the shredded lettuce and finish with the shredded Mexican cheese.
  6. Bake the assembled pizza in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the edges of the crust are golden brown.
  7. Once baked to perfection, remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Slice it up and serve warm, garnished with additional toppings if desired.

Notes

  • Customize toppings to suit your taste, from veggies to meats.
  • Allow the pizza to cool for a few minutes for easier slicing.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
