Ingredients
  

  • 2 cans Skipper Snacks smoked fish
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • 1 pinch black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • to taste Toast points for serving
  • to taste Vegetable batons carrots, cucumbers, or bell peppers

Equipment

  • Mixer or food processor
  • Mixing bowl

Method
 

  1. In a mixing bowl, add the cream cheese and sour cream. Using a mixer or a food processor, blend these together until smooth and creamy.
  2. Open the cans of Skipper Snacks and drain any excess liquid. Gently fold the smoked fish into the cream cheese mixture, being careful not to break the fish too much.
  3. Add a pinch of black pepper and the lemon zest to the mixture. Stir until well combined, tasting to adjust the seasoning as necessary.
  4. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let the dip chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. This allows the flavors to meld beautifully.
  5. Transfer the dip to a serving platter or bowl. Arrange toast points and vegetable batons around the dip for a beautiful presentation. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Store leftover dip in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • If your dip is too thick, add a splash of milk or more sour cream.
  • For a smoother texture, blend the dip longer or use a food processor.
