Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 cups heavy cream cold
  • 0.5 cup milk your choice of milk
  • 0.25 cup brewed espresso cold
  • 0.25 cup confectioners sugar
  • 2 tablespoons protein powder vanilla or chocolate
  • 4 ounces dark chocolate melted and cooled

Method
 

  1. Start by brewing your espresso. Let it cool completely.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, pour in the cold heavy cream. Whip the cream on medium speed until soft peaks form.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the melted dark chocolate, cold milk, cold espresso, confectioners sugar, and protein powder. Mix until smooth.
  4. Gently fold the chocolate mixture into the whipped cream using a spatula.
  5. Spoon the mousse into serving dishes and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to set.
  6. Once chilled, serve your Protein Coffee Mousse as is or with your favorite toppings.

Notes

  • For a dairy-free option, use coconut cream instead of heavy cream.
