Ingredients
  

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 pounds ground chuck
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 8 slices cheddar cheese
  • 16 slices dill pickles
  • 1/4 cup chopped red onions
  • 2 tablespoons mustard
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup

Method
 

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chuck, salt, and black pepper. Gently mix the ingredients, then divide into four portions and shape into patties.
  2. Preheat your grill or stovetop skillet over medium-high heat and melt the butter to coat the cooking surface.
  3. Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes on one side, flip, add cheese, and cook for another 4-5 minutes until desired doneness.
  4. Toast the brioche buns cut-side down on the grill or skillet for 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Assemble the burger with the bottom half of the bun, cheesy patty, pickles, onions, mustard, and ketchup, then add the top bun.
  6. Serve immediately while hot, paired with your favorite sides.

Notes

  • Shape patties in advance and refrigerate for up to 24 hours.
  • Store leftovers in airtight containers for up to 3 days.
  • Use a meat thermometer for perfect doneness, aiming for 160°F.
