Preparation Steps:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- If your puff pastry is too thick, roll it out to about ¼ inch thickness.
- Spread a generous layer of pesto on one sheet of puff pastry.
- Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the pesto.
- Using a knife or pizza cutter, slice the pastry into strips about 1 inch wide.
- Twist each strip a few times, then place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Apply the beaten egg wash over each twist.
- Bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until the twists are golden brown.
- Let them cool for a few minutes before serving warm.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.
- To rewarm, place in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 5-7 minutes.
