Ingredients
  

For the Brisket:
  • 6 pound beef brisket well-marbled
  • 1 cup yellow mustard
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon pepper
  • 2 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar

Method
 

Cooking Instructions:
  1. Step 1: Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Pat the brisket dry with paper towels and rub yellow mustard all over it.
  2. Step 2: In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well and rub it over the brisket.
  3. Step 3: Place the seasoned brisket in a large roasting pan. Pour in the beef broth and apple cider vinegar around it.
  4. Step 4: Cover the pan tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 4 to 5 hours, until the brisket reaches 195°F (90°C).
  5. Step 5: Once done, remove the brisket from the oven and let it rest for at least 30 minutes before slicing against the grain.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
  • Freeze wrapped brisket tightly for up to 3 months.
  • Reheat in the oven covered at 300°F (150°C) until warmed through.
