Ingredients

  • 4 cups quick oats
  • 1 cup honey natural sweetener
  • ½ cup melted coconut oil adds richness
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract for flavor
  • ½ teaspoon salt balances sweetness

Equipment

  • Large mixing bowl
  • Baking Sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • Spatula
  • Oven

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) for even baking.
  2. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the quick oats, melted coconut oil, honey, vanilla extract, and salt. Stir until evenly coated.
  4. Pour the oat mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it out evenly. Bake for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through.
  5. Once baked, let the granola cool completely on the baking sheet to help it clump together.
  6. Break the cooled granola into clusters and store in an airtight container.

Notes

  • For a vegan option, substitute honey with maple syrup.
  • Add sunflower seeds for extra crunch.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two weeks.
