Ingredients
  

For the Sliders:
  • 1 large egg acts as a binder
  • 1 pound ground turkey a lean protein choice
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs for crunch
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder for flavor
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika adds smokiness
  • 2 teaspoons parsley fresh herbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt to enhance flavors
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper for balance

Method
 

Cooking Instructions:
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, panko breadcrumbs, onion powder, paprika, parsley, salt, pepper, and the large egg. Mix until just combined.
  2. Divide the mixture into equal portions and form about 8 small patties, each about 1 inch thick.
  3. Heat a non-stick skillet or grill over medium heat. Cook the sliders for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. Just before the sliders are done, place a slice of cheese on each patty and cover for about a minute to melt.
  5. Remove sliders from the skillet, place on mini buns, and add your favorite toppings.

Notes

  • Store cooked sliders in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
  • Freeze sliders wrapped in plastic wrap for up to 3 months.
  • Reheat in a skillet over low heat until warmed through.
