Ingredients
  

  • 1 sheet puff pastry high-quality, ready-made
  • 4 tbsp mixed berry jam choose your favorite brand or homemade
  • melted butter for brushing
  • coarse sugar for sprinkling

  • Sharp Knife or Pizza Cutter

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Let the puff pastry sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes.
  3. Cut the puff pastry into four 4-inch squares and arrange them on a baking sheet.
  4. Add 1 tablespoon of mixed berry jam to the center of each square.
  5. Fold the corners of the pastry over the jam and press down the edges with a fork to seal.
  6. Brush melted butter over the top of each puff.
  7. Sprinkle coarse sugar on top of each pastry.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown, keeping an eye to avoid burning.
  9. Let cool on a wire rack for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Make the Jam Puffs a day in advance and store in the refrigerator unbaked.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
  • Reheat in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 5-7 minutes.
