Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups sliced pickled jalapeños drained
  • 1 cup dill pickle chips drained
  • 1 tablespoon tequila
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh dill
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon Tabasco sauce optional

Method
 

  1. Start by gathering all your ingredients. Drain the pickled jalapeños and dill pickle chips, then chop the onion and mince the garlic.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced pickled jalapeños and dill pickle chips. Stir them together gently.
  3. Add the minced garlic, chopped onion, and fresh dill to the bowl. Pour in the tequila, followed by the black pepper and Tabasco sauce. Mix everything thoroughly.
  4. Taste your Jalapeno Relish and adjust the spice level by adding more Tabasco or a pinch of sugar if desired.
  5. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let the relish chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour before serving.

Notes

  • This relish can last up to two weeks in the refrigerator.
  • Feel free to adjust the spice level to your liking.
  • For a milder flavor, reduce the amount of pickled jalapeños.
