Ingredients

  • 12 count Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • 6 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup pickled jalapeno peppers diced
  • 3 cups shredded chicken
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Challenge Butter Lawry's Seasoned Salt Snack Spread

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Baking dish
  • Spatula
  • Oven

Method

  1. Begin by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, diced pickled jalapenos, shredded chicken, shredded sharp cheddar cheese, and Challenge Butter Lawry's Seasoned Salt Snack Spread. Stir everything together until you have a well-mixed, creamy filling.
  3. Carefully slice the Hawaiian sweet rolls in half horizontally, keeping them connected.
  4. Place the bottom half of the rolls in your baking dish. Spread the chicken mixture over the rolls evenly. Place the top half of the rolls on to create a sandwich.
  5. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for about 20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the tops are golden and the cheese is bubbly.
  6. Once baked, let the sliders cool for a few minutes before slicing them into individual portions. Serve warm.

Notes

  • For milder sliders, substitute pickled jalapenos with diced green bell peppers.
  • Use rotisserie chicken for a quick protein option.
  • These sliders can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator until ready to bake.
