  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise for creaminess
  • 1 cup sour cream for tanginess
  • 1 cup buttermilk to thin the dressing
  • 1 tablespoon distilled white vinegar for tangy flavor
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice for freshness
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce for umami depth
  • 1/2 teaspoon mustard for a subtle kick
  • 2 teaspoons prepared horseradish for spiciness
  • 1 clove garlic minced for flavor
  • 2 teaspoons chopped parsley for freshness
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt to enhance flavors
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper for heat

Method
 

Instructions:
  1. Gather all of the ingredients listed above.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, add 1/2 cup mayonnaise and 1 cup sour cream. Use a whisk to blend them until well combined and smooth.
  3. Pour in 1 cup buttermilk and whisk again until fully incorporated.
  4. Add 1 tablespoon distilled white vinegar, 1 teaspoon lemon juice, and 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce. Stir well to blend.
  5. Add in 1/2 teaspoon mustard and 2 teaspoons prepared horseradish. Whisk until fully mixed.
  6. Finally, add 1 clove minced garlic, 2 teaspoons chopped parsley, 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt, and 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper. Give it one final whisk to combine everything thoroughly.
  7. Taste the dressing and adjust seasoning if necessary.
  8. Transfer the dressing to a jar or airtight container. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week.
  • If the dressing thickens, stir in a little extra buttermilk.
  • Shake or stir before using as ingredients may settle.
