  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup whole grain mustard
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 5 cloves garlic peeled and minced
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1/4-1/2 teaspoon chili powder or cayenne powder optional
For the Salmon:
  • 2 1/2 pounds side of salmon the star of the show!
  • 1 pinch salt to enhance the flavors
  • 1 pinch cracked pepper for seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
  • 4-5 pieces lemon wedges optional, for serving

Method
 

Directions:
  1. Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to ensure even cooking.
  2. Step 2: In a mixing bowl, combine the honey, butter, whole grain mustard, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, and lemon juice. Whisk until well blended. Add chili powder or cayenne if desired.
  3. Step 3: Place the salmon on a large piece of aluminum foil with the shiny side up.
  4. Step 4: Season the salmon with salt and pepper, then pour the honey mustard mixture over it, ensuring it’s evenly coated.
  5. Step 5: Fold the foil to create a sealed packet to trap steam and moisture.
  6. Step 6: Place the foil packet on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes or until the salmon flakes easily.
  7. Step 7: Carefully open the foil packet, sprinkle with parsley, and serve with lemon wedges.
