Instructions
- Step 1: Prepare the Drop Biscuits. Preheat your oven according to the instructions for your Easy Drop Biscuits. In a mixing bowl, combine the ingredients for your biscuit dough and mix until just combined. Avoid overmixing to keep them fluffy. Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake until golden brown.
- Step 2: Cook the Sausage Patties. While the biscuits are baking, heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the sausage patties and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until they are browned and cooked through. Once done, remove them from the skillet and set aside.
- Step 3: Scramble the Eggs. In the same skillet, melt the tablespoon of butter over low heat. Crack the eggs into a bowl, whisk them together with a pinch of salt and pepper, and pour them into the skillet. Gently scramble the eggs until they are just set but still slightly runny. Remove from heat.
- Step 4: Assemble Your Biscuits. Once the biscuits are out of the oven, slice them in half. On the bottom half of each biscuit, place a sausage patty, followed by a portion of scrambled eggs, and top with a piece of cheddar cheese. Close the biscuit and let the cheese melt slightly from the warmth of the eggs.
- Step 5: Serve and Enjoy. Serve your Homemade Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Biscuits warm, and watch them disappear!
