Ingredients

For the Nuts:
  • 1/2 cup pecan halves
  • 1/2 cup raw cashews
  • 1/2 cup walnut halves
  • 1/2 cup hazelnuts
  • 1/2 cup Brazil nuts
  • 1/2 cup raw almonds
For the Seasoning:
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary leaves
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
  • 1/2 tablespoon parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic granules
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tablespoon olive oil

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Baking Sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • Measuring Spoons
  • Oven

Method

Cooking Instructions:
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). This will ensure your nuts roast evenly and get that perfect crunch.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the pecan halves, raw cashews, walnut halves, hazelnuts, Brazil nuts, and raw almonds. Give them a gentle toss to mix them together.
  3. To the bowl of nuts, add the fresh rosemary, thyme, and parsley. Then sprinkle in the garlic granules, paprika, kosher salt, and ground black pepper. Drizzle the olive oil over the mixture.
  4. Using your hands or a spatula, thoroughly mix everything until the nuts are evenly coated in the oil and seasonings.
  5. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper (if using) and spread the nut mixture in a single layer.
  6. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and roast for about 15-20 minutes. Stir the nuts halfway through to promote even browning.
  7. Once the nuts are golden brown and fragrant, remove them from the oven. Allow them to cool completely on the baking sheet.

Notes

  • Feel free to experiment with other herbs like sage or dill for a different flavor profile.
  • Adjust the seasoning to your taste; add more salt or spices for bolder flavor.
  • Try adding a pinch of cayenne pepper for a spicy kick!
  • These nuts can be stored for up to two weeks in an airtight container.
