  • 1/4 cup Butter softened

  • 3 cups Milk whole or 2% preferred
  • 2 small boxes Instant Vanilla Pudding
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 12 oz. Cool Whip thawed

Equipment

  • Mixing bowls
  • Electric mixer
  • Spatula
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Serving Dish

Method

Instructions
  1. Step 1: Crush the Oreos. Start by crushing the Golden Oreos into bite-sized pieces. You can do this by placing them in a zip-top bag and using a rolling pin, or you can pulse them in a food processor. Set aside.
  2. Step 2: Prepare the Cream Cheese Mixture. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and softened butter. Use an electric mixer on medium speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Gradually add the powdered sugar, blending well until fully incorporated.
  3. Step 3: Mix the Pudding. In another bowl, whisk together the milk and instant vanilla pudding mix. Stir until the mixture is thickened and smooth, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Step 4: Combine the Mixtures. Gently fold the pudding mixture into the cream cheese mixture using a spatula. Make sure to mix thoroughly but gently to keep it light and airy.
  5. Step 5: Add the Cool Whip. Once the cream cheese and pudding mixtures are well combined, fold in the thawed Cool Whip. This will give your Golden Oreo Dream Salad that light and fluffy texture.
  6. Step 6: Layer the Salad. In your serving dish, start layering the crushed Golden Oreos and the creamy mixture. Begin with a layer of the creamy mixture, followed by a layer of crushed Oreos. Repeat until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of the creamy mixture on top.
  7. Step 7: Chill and Serve. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results. Serve chilled and enjoy the compliments!
