Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup real mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup dill pickle relish Alternatively, use 3/4 cup finely chopped dill pickles
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped fresh dill or 1 tsp dried dill
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper optional

Method
 

  1. Gather all your ingredients to make the process smoother.
  2. In your mixing bowl, add the 1 cup of real mayonnaise.
  3. Mix in the 1/2 cup of dill pickle relish or finely chopped dill pickles. Stir thoroughly to combine.
  4. Add in the 1 tablespoon of finely chopped fresh dill, 1 teaspoon of lemon juice, 1 teaspoon of sugar, 1 teaspoon of Dijon mustard, 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper, and a pinch of cayenne pepper if desired.
  5. Mix everything together until it’s smooth. Taste and adjust seasonings if necessary.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, substitute half of the mayonnaise with Greek yogurt.
  • Make it vegan by using a plant-based mayonnaise alternative.
  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week.
