Method

How to Prepare Easy Spaghetti
  1. Fill a large pot with water, add a generous pinch of salt, and bring it to a rolling boil. Once boiling, add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes.
  2. While the spaghetti cooks, heat the olive oil and melted butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for about 1-2 minutes, stirring frequently, until the garlic is fragrant and golden, but be careful not to burn it.
  4. Once the spaghetti is cooked, reserve about ½ cup of the pasta water, then drain the rest using a colander. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet with the garlic mixture.
  5. Toss the spaghetti with the garlic oil, then gradually add the reserved pasta water as needed to create a light sauce. Season with salt, black pepper, and red chili flakes to taste.
  6. Remove the skillet from heat. Sprinkle the finely chopped parsley over the spaghetti, toss gently to combine, and serve immediately with additional chili flakes if desired. Enjoy your Easy Spaghetti!
