How to Prepare Easy Spaghetti
- Fill a large pot with water, add a generous pinch of salt, and bring it to a rolling boil. Once boiling, add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes.
- While the spaghetti cooks, heat the olive oil and melted butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for about 1-2 minutes, stirring frequently, until the garlic is fragrant and golden, but be careful not to burn it.
- Once the spaghetti is cooked, reserve about ½ cup of the pasta water, then drain the rest using a colander. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet with the garlic mixture.
- Toss the spaghetti with the garlic oil, then gradually add the reserved pasta water as needed to create a light sauce. Season with salt, black pepper, and red chili flakes to taste.
- Remove the skillet from heat. Sprinkle the finely chopped parsley over the spaghetti, toss gently to combine, and serve immediately with additional chili flakes if desired. Enjoy your Easy Spaghetti!
