Ingredients
  

  • 3 tablespoons butter divided
  • 1 pound shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 6 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 pinch red pepper flakes optional
  • 3 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Method
 

  1. Gather all your ingredients. If using frozen shrimp, ensure they are fully thawed. Peel and devein the shrimp, mince the garlic, and chop the parsley.
  2. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat until bubbly but not browned.
  3. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to let it brown.
  4. Add the shrimp and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque.
  5. Add the lemon juice and red pepper flakes (if using) and stir to combine. Cook for another minute.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in the remaining tablespoon of butter and chopped parsley.
  7. Transfer the shrimp to a serving dish and garnish with extra parsley or lemon wedges. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Ensure shrimp are thawed and patted dry for better searing.
  • Pair with rice, pasta, or crusty bread to enjoy the sauce.
