Instructions:
- Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) for even baking.
- Step 2: Grease a standard loaf pan with butter or cooking spray, or line it with parchment paper.
- Step 3: Mash the very ripe bananas until smooth in a large mixing bowl.
- Step 4: Add melted butter to the mashed bananas, then stir in vanilla extract and whisked eggs.
- Step 5: In another bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg until mixed.
- Step 6: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
- Step 7: Fold in blueberries and toasted nuts using a spatula.
- Step 8: Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top.
- Step 9: Bake for 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Step 10: Cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
