Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1 cup butter softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 ripe bananas
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mash the ripe bananas in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  3. Add the softened butter and packed brown sugar to the mashed bananas and cream together until fluffy.
  4. Mix in the two eggs thoroughly into the banana mixture.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, folding gently until just combined.
  7. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.

Notes

  • For a healthier option, replace butter with coconut oil or applesauce.
  • Add nuts or chocolate chips for extra flavor!
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
