Ingredients
  

  • 1 15 ounce can chickpeas drained and rinsed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic fresh or powdered
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Parmesan optional
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons homemade taco seasoning

Method
 

  1. Start by draining and rinsing the chickpeas under cold water. Pat them dry with a kitchen towel.
For Garlic Paprika Chickpeas:
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine chickpeas with olive oil, garlic, salt, paprika, and pepper. Toss until evenly coated.
For Cheesy Garlic Chickpeas:
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine chickpeas with olive oil, garlic, salt, and Parmesan. Toss until thoroughly coated.
For Taco-Spiced Chickpeas:
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine chickpeas with olive oil and taco seasoning. Toss to coat evenly.
  2. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Place seasoned chickpeas in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  3. Air fry for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket every 5 minutes until golden and crispy.
  4. Remove chickpeas from the air fryer and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
