Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup butter melted
  • 1 cup pretzels crushed finely then measured
  • 1 cup Ritz crackers crushed finely
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 cup crunchy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 1/2 cups milk chocolate chips

Equipment

  • Mixing bowls
  • 9x13 inch baking dish
  • Spatula
  • Microwave-safe bowl
  • Measuring cups and spoons

Method

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, crushed pretzels, crushed Ritz crackers, powdered sugar, and both types of peanut butter. Mix until all ingredients are evenly combined and form a thick, crumbly mixture.
  2. Transfer the mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish. Using a spatula, press the mixture down firmly and evenly across the bottom of the pan.
  3. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the milk chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth and fully melted.
  4. Once melted, pour the chocolate over the pressed peanut butter and pretzel mixture in the baking dish. Use a spatula to spread it evenly across the top.
  5. Place the baking dish in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to allow the chocolate to set completely.
  6. After chilling, remove the bars from the refrigerator and cut them into squares or rectangles. Serve them at room temperature.
