Ingredients

For the Marinade:
  • 4 pieces boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • ½ cup Chick-fil-a sauce
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • 1 tsp white vinegar
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Whisk
  • Resealable bag or shallow dish
  • Grill or skillet

Method

Instructions:
  1. Step 1: Prepare the Marinade
In a mixing bowl, combine the Chick-fil-a sauce, olive oil, white vinegar, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, and a generous pinch of salt and pepper. Use a whisk to mix everything until well combined. The goal is to achieve a smooth and creamy marinade that coats the chicken beautifully.
  2. Step 2: Marinate the Chicken
Place the boneless skinless chicken breasts in a resealable bag or shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring every piece is fully coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish with plastic wrap. For the best results, let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, but if you have more time, allow it to soak for up to 4 hours. This will really enhance the flavor.
  3. Step 3: Cook the Chicken
Once the chicken has marinated, it's time to cook! Preheat your grill or skillet over medium heat. Remove the chicken from the marinade, allowing any excess to drip off. Cook the chicken for about 6-7 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). The chicken should have a beautiful golden-brown crust and be juicy on the inside.

Notes

  • For best results, marinate overnight for deeper flavor.
  • This marinade can also be used for pork chops or tofu.
  • Leftover marinade should not be reused; make a fresh batch for dipping.
