Instructions
  1. Step 1: Brown the Butter. Place your skillet over medium heat. Add the 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter, allowing it to melt slowly until it turns golden brown and emits a nutty aroma (3-5 minutes).
  2. Step 2: Season the Shrimp. While the butter is browning, season the 1 pound of large peeled and deveined shrimp with salt and pepper.
  3. Step 3: Cook the Shrimp. Add the seasoned shrimp to the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes on one side until they start to turn pink, then flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  4. Step 4: Add Garlic and Spice. Add the 3 cloves of minced garlic and 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes to the skillet. Stir and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
  5. Step 5: Finish with Lemon and Parsley. Remove from heat and squeeze the juice of one lemon over the shrimp. Toss in the 2 tablespoons of chopped parsley.
  6. Step 6: Serve and Enjoy. Serve immediately while hot, pairing with rice, pasta, or a simple green salad.

Notes
