Total Time 10 minutes
Servings: 6 servings
Course: Dessert
Cuisine: American

Ingredients

  • 8 oz Cream Cheese or Coconut Cream softened or chilled
  • 2 Bananas ripe
  • 1/3 cup Sweetener of Choice sugar, honey, or substitute
  • 2 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon optional

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Hand mixer or stand mixer
  • Spatula
  • Serving Dish
  • Measuring cups and spoons

Method

  1. Gather all your ingredients and tools. If you’re using cream cheese, make sure it’s softened to room temperature for easy mixing. If you’re using coconut cream, chill it beforehand and then scoop the cream from the top.
  2. In your mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese or coconut cream with the sweetener. Beat until smooth and creamy, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Slice the bananas and add them to the mixture. Use a spatula to gently fold them in. If you want a chunkier texture, leave some banana pieces intact.
  4. Add the pure vanilla extract and optional cinnamon to the bowl. Mix until everything is well combined and the flavors are evenly distributed.
  5. For the best flavor, cover the dip and let it chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. This allows the flavors to meld beautifully.
  6. Transfer the dip to a serving dish and garnish with some banana slices or a sprinkle of cinnamon on top. Serve with your choice of dippers like fruit, cookies, or crackers, and enjoy!

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days.
  • Chilling the dip enhances the flavor, so it's recommended!
  • Feel free to customize with your favorite add-ins like nuts or chocolate.
