  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice freshly squeezed
  • 2 tablespoon Dijon Mustard

  • 1 teaspoon Dried Thyme

Method

Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut a large piece of aluminum foil (about 2 feet long).
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the brown sugar, melted butter, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and dried thyme. Mix until well combined.
  4. Place the salmon fillet skin-side down on the center of the foil. Use a brush or spoon to apply the glaze over the top of the salmon.
  5. Lay the sliced lemons over the salmon, and sprinkle with extra salt and pepper if desired.
  6. Fold the sides of the foil over the salmon to create a sealed packet.
  7. Place the foil packet on a baking sheet and bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  8. Once baked, carefully open the foil and transfer the salmon to a serving platter, garnish with chopped fresh parsley, and serve.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
  • Flake leftover salmon over salads for added protein.
  • Use a brown sugar substitute for a low-carb option.
