Ingredients

  • 3-4 pound whole chicken fresh, organic
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1.5 teaspoons Stone House Seasoning
  • 0.5 teaspoon paprika optional

Equipment

  • Air Fryer
  • Meat thermometer
  • Cutting Board
  • Kitchen Tongs

Method

  1. Start by removing the giblets from the inside of the chicken. Rinse the chicken under cold water and pat it dry with paper towels.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, Stone House Seasoning, and paprika (if using). Rub this mixture all over the chicken.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 360°F (182°C) for about 5 minutes.
  4. Carefully place the seasoned chicken breast-side down in the air fryer basket.
  5. Cook the chicken at 360°F (182°C) for 30 minutes, then flip it to breast-side up and cook for an additional 20-30 minutes.
  6. Once cooked, carefully remove the chicken and let it rest for 10-15 minutes before carving.
  7. Carve the chicken into pieces and serve with your favorite sides.

Notes

  • Ensure the chicken is fully thawed before cooking.
  • Experiment with different spices and herbs to suit your taste.
  • Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness; internal temperature should reach 165°F (74°C).
