Method
 

Cooking Instructions:
  1. Step 1: Preparing the Steaks - Start by taking your filet mignon steaks out of the refrigerator. Let them sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
  2. Step 2: Seasoning - In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, kosher salt, and black pepper. Rub this mixture generously over both sides of the steaks.
  3. Step 3: Preheating the Air Fryer - Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Step 4: Cooking the Steaks - Place the seasoned filet mignon steaks in the air fryer basket. Cook for about 10-12 minutes for medium-rare, flipping halfway through.
  5. Step 5: Adding Butter - In the last 2 minutes of cooking, brush the softened unsalted butter over the top of each steak.
  6. Step 6: Resting the Steaks - Once cooked, let the steaks rest for about 5 minutes.
