  • 3 large ripe bananas (1 ½ cups mashed)
  • ½ cup creamy almond butter *
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • cup chopped walnuts or pecans

  • Baking dish (8x8 or 9x9)

Method
 

Baking Instructions:
  1. Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) for even baking.
  2. Step 2: Line your baking dish with parchment paper.
  3. Step 3: Mash the ripe bananas in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  4. Step 4: Mix in the creamy almond butter until fully combined.
  5. Step 5: In a separate bowl, combine rolled oats, sea salt, ground cinnamon, and chopped walnuts or pecans.
  6. Step 6: Fold the dry mixture into the wet banana-almond butter mixture until just combined.
  7. Step 7: Fold in the chocolate chips and vanilla extract.
  8. Step 8: Spread the mixture evenly in the baking dish.
  9. Step 9: Bake for about 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Step 10: Allow to cool before slicing into squares.
